Discouraged? Despondent? What Saith the Scriptures?
"Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me?

God is the lifter of our head (no other person, no amount of money
or prestige, etc., is the answer):
"But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine
head."
Psalms 3:3
Make sure you have not given the enemy a foothold in your spiritual life:
"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from
you."
James 4:7
Practice endurance in the midst of this trial & you will get the victory:
"Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall
receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love
him."
James 1:12
Worship God. Lift your sights higher, & you will be lifted above your problem:
"Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works."
Psalms 105:2
"Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice."
Phil 4:4
God is able to rescue from the deepest pit of discouragement:
"Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless
before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy"
Jude 1:24
Recognize that persecution & misunderstanding is a part of the package;
endure & you will win over depression:
"And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth
to the end shall be saved."
Matt 10:22
Focus on others' problems more than your own. We all need each other
