What Would YOU Do?

Discussion Question:
The pastor of the church you've attended for years neglects to return calls and fails to follow up on serious needs: surgery, terminal illness, attempted suicide, etc. You've approached him about it months ago, and when it continued you even brought another elder with you to address the problem. You've also talked to another in authority at the church and attempted to arrange another meeting to resolve the issue. Nothing ever came of it. Others who have attended for years have expressed the same problem.*

What would YOU do?

Leave the Church. The pastor's not doing his job ("visit the sick," etc.) and your needs are not being met.
Share your frustrations with the church. If this is happening to you, it must be happening to others.
Tell the presbyter(s) presiding over the pastor. It's their responsibility; even pastors should be held accountable.
Tell another elder, again. Maybe he can help address the problem, even though the other didn't follow through. Keep trying till you get results, no matter how frustrating.
Just pray about it and keep attending. Confronting your brother will only make you look like a rebel.
